The problem
35 divided by 7: seven times what?
Division facts are quicker when children link them to multiplication. Without that link, they try to count down or share.
Dividing in the wrong order
Children write 7 / 35 or answer 28 by subtracting. The larger number comes first.
Forgetting the times table
35 / 7 is 5 because 5 x 7 = 35. Children who skip that link start from scratch each time.
Dividing by ten
70 / 10 is 7. Some children subtract or move a zero without seeing why it works.
Each fact is written as a division sentence. Children think of the matching multiplication fact to find the answer and check by multiplying back.
What’s inside
30 questions, one per slide.
Students type straight into the box — no printing, no cutting.

Questions
Before you buy.
Should my child know multiplication first?
It helps. Division is easiest as the other side of a multiplication fact.
What if my child needs smaller numbers?
Use Division Facts to 5 first, then come back to this set.
How do I get the file?
The download link appears right after checkout and lands in your inbox at the same time. One PowerPoint file you can open in Google Slides.
Can I share it with my class?
Yes — one teacher can use it with their own students, this year and next. Sharing the file with other teachers needs a separate license.
Do I need Google Slides?
No. The file is a PowerPoint (.pptx). It opens in PowerPoint, and in Google Slides once you upload it to Google Drive.
